Are you looking to transition into or build a long-term, stable career close to home with one of Canada's top employers? Ledcor Highways is pleased to begin work as MTO's Highway Maintenance Contractor in the area, and we are seeking safety-oriented individuals to help keep highways and communities safe.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to join an organization with a strong safety culture. We offer a fully funded program for selected individuals to upgrade their G license to a DZ license, enabling them to join our team and support winter and summer operations.
This training will help you obtain your DZ license and develop the skills needed to become a safe and competent winter plow operator. The role could lead to full-time or seasonal employment with Ledcor. Minimum qualifications include:
Preference will be given to applicants residing in Wawa, White River, Chapleau, Agawa, Thessalon, and Iron Bridge, Ontario, due to project location. Accommodation options are available for those outside these towns.
Applicants must commit to a minimum employment period.
Ledcor Highways operates in various weather conditions; some shift work, on-call, and night shifts may be required.
