Are you looking to transition into, or build a long-term stable career close to home with one of Canada's top employers? Ledcor Highways is starting work as MTO's Highway Maintenance Contractor in the area, and we are seeking safety-oriented individuals to help keep highways and communities safe.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with a strong safety culture. We offer a fully funded program to help you upgrade your G license to a DZ license, enabling you to join our team for winter and summer operations.
This training will help you obtain your DZ license and develop skills to become a safe, competent winter plow operator. It could lead to full-time or seasonal employment with Ledcor. Minimum qualifications include:
Preference will be given to applicants residing in Wawa, White River, Chapleau, Agawa, Thessalon, and Iron Bridge, Ontario, due to project locations. Accommodation options are available for others.
All approved applicants must commit to a minimum employment term. Ledcor Highways operates in various weather conditions; shift work, on-call, and night shifts are required.
