Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Student in Operations Controls for a contract, co-op position with a flexible hybrid schedule. You will review accounts for AML risks, analyze suspicious transactions, and prepare statistical reports, while performing day-to-day administrative duties.

Applicants must be enrolled in a co-op program and available full-time for the term; prior exposure to finance and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a university degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, business, or economics is preferred (ideally completed 1st or 2nd year).
• Keen interest in the financial services industry and capital markets.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
• You must be in a registered co-op program to be eligible for this opportunity.
• You must be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term.

How You’ll Make An Impact

As a student in Operations Controls, you will have the opportunity to

What We’re Looking For

• Working towards a university degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, business, or economics is preferred (ideally completed 1st or 2nd year)
• Keen interest in the financial services industry and capital markets
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service focusProficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
• You must be in a registered co-op program to be eligible for this opportunity
• You must be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate hourly rate ranges from $23.00 to $27.00, based on experience and qualifications.

We offer market-aligned rates that recognize the specialized skills and agility required for this role. We’re proud to offer a compensation package that aligns with provincial pay transparency requirements.
