Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Student, Identity Access Management to support day-to-day IAM processing and provisioning. You will assist with new hire setup, access updates, and termination tasks within a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

The role requires enrollment in a registered co-op program, a university IT focus, and an interest in IAM frameworks, Windows, Desktop and Mobile security. This is a full-time term position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• You are working towards a university degree, preferably in Information Technology.
• You have a keen interest and knowledge of IAM frameworks, Windows, Desktop and Mobile, and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day processing of access requests, including initial new hire setup, updating accesses and termination of access.
• Perform AATR reviews looking for potential security issues (eg. excessive privileges relative to job role, separation of duties, inappropriate access).

How you’ll make an impact

As a student in Identity Access Management your focus will be to support the day-to-day processing of Identity Access Management (IAM) requests at Fidelity Canada. The primary responsibilities will include system access (application and AD) provisioning, creating and performing AATR and supporting and maintaining Job Roles and resolving IAM issues. You will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain job role access, as required by the business.

What we’re looking for:

• You are working towards a university degree, preferably in Information Technology.
• You have a keen interest and knowledge of IAM frameworks, Windows, Desktop and Mobile, and security policies.
• You must be enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this role.
• You must be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term.
• You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate IT hourly rate ranges from $25.00 to $29.00, based on experience and qualifications. We offer market-aligned rates that recognize the specialized skills and agility required for this role. We’re proud to offer a compensation package that aligns with provincial pay transparency requirements. This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization.
