North Slope Borough School District is seeking a part-time coaching/activities adviser to support student learning and lead formal meetings with students. You will liaise with coaches, parents, and school administration to ensure smooth operations and adherence to district policies.

The role emphasizes safety, conduct, and timely completion of required trainings. Background checks are mandatory, and a driver’s license is preferred to facilitate duties across campuses.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• AK Driver's license preferred.

Mansioni

• Meet with students and support student learning of running a formal meeting.
• Coordinate with Principal on developing eight student projects.
• Turn in Activity Report with photos when available.
• Communicate with participants, parents, and administrators.
• Set a positive example through a high code of conduct.
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to NSBSD activity policies.
• Review the Coaches’ and Parent/Student Handbooks annually.
• Ensure student welfare is paramount in decision-making.
• Complete required trainings before the first contract day.
