Job summary

North Slope Borough School District is seeking an Athletic Coach who will liaise with coaches, administration, and parents to ensure student safety and program success. You will coordinate performances, maintain rosters, and administer student surveys as part of the school’s extracurricular activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to pass a background check, and a valid AK driver’s license is preferred. Training and policy adherence are essential components of the position.

Qualifications

• Communicate with participants, parents and administrators.
• Model high conduct and safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures as per policies.
• Understand NSBSD activity policies and guidelines.
• Complete mandatory trainings before first contract day.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Principal for performance times/dates.
• Manage Spring and Fall performances (two per year).
• Maintain roster of dance performers.
• Administer Pre-Attendance Survey to students.
• Submit Activity Report with photos if available.
