Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have experience in developing and implementing career development programs and services.
• Excellent written and oral communication, plus time-management and organizational skills.
• Experience delivering employability skills workshops and one-on-one career advice.
• Experience developing and delivering training for students or volunteers.
• Knowledge of the university's academic programs is required.
• Knowledge of labour market data and trends is essential.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Computer literacy including email, databases, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a full suite of career development services for students.
• Collaborate with academic departments and the central Career Services office.
• Provide timely, knowledgeable career guidance and resources to students, staff and faculty.
• Direct students to appropriate support and resources as needed.
• Represent the office professionally in all interactions.
