Job summary

Indspire is seeking a Student Caller to support donor stewardship through thank-you calls and outreach in a part-time, in-person role in Toronto. The position offers 15-20 hours per week with shifts Mon–Fri between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm, and a flexible schedule for students.

The ideal candidate is a dependable post-secondary student with strong communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic database management. Prior call center or fundraising experience is a plus.

• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience with donor outreach or fundraising is an asset.

Indspire is seeking a Student Caller (Part-time, Contract) to start as soon as possible. The Student Caller will support Indspire’s donor stewardship efforts through donor thank-you calls and other outreach, while gaining valuable experience in fundraising and the charitable sector.

Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Donor Relations & Gift Processing team, the Student Caller will connect with Indspire donors by phone to thank them for their support and share firsthand the impact of their giving.

The Student Caller will develop their communication skills and techniques for engaging with donors, accurately record donor information and feedback in a confidential database, and support other donor outreach activities as required.

Position Qualifications

We are seeking a dependable post-secondary student who has ideally received support with a scholarship, bursary or award through our Building Brighter Futures program.

• excellent communication skills,
• exceptional attention to detail,
• excellent people skills, including active listening,
• confidence engaging individuals by telephone, and,
• familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic database management.

Experience working in a call centre or in a fundraising setting would be considered an asset.

Schedule
