Business Analyst (Special Markets)
The Business Analyst will leverage their technical knowledge and skill to work closely with teams in Special Markets . As the department and our line of business continues to evolve over time, there is a growing need to balance the technical aspects with administration operations.
The role is rewarding for individuals who apply their skill sets in diverse scenarios and different work focuses over time. From troubleshooting, developing, continuously improving to ensuring that new processes and procedures are locked in; there will be constant opportunities to apply creative thinking towards stable & sustainable work routines .
Work & expectations
As needed participate in the requirements gathering sessions with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to help clients determine their operational needs based on the functionalities to be developed or modified .
Create and run reports.
Execute, d evelop, modify and document simple to complex processes & procedures according to product and administration specifications within business requirements.
Work with the IT development teams to guide technical solutions based on business needs.
Collaboratively d raw up, carry out and validate functional, integrated accounting & systems tests, from test case to results when appropriate .
Give the support requested by the users and clients .
Work on departmental routine operational processes as well as procedures that tie-in.
Work closely alongside other team’s Business Analysts , Product Owner and IT team members .
Assist with implementation as needed .
Perform quality checks to ensure the highest and most accurate level of service is provided.
Adhere to work Knowledge Centered Support & Service (KCS) philosophy of documenting and sharing of acquired knowledge over time within the department’s knowledgebase.
What we are looking For
Student enrolled in a University program in Business Administration, Information Technology or other related programs;
Knowledge of Client & Customer Resource Management Systems (CRM);
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI;
Adaptable team player with strong communication skills;
Someone comfortable working in the Lean and Continuous Improvement environment;
Ability and willingness to work independently or in a team setting on multiple work items;
Individuals who thrive in the challenges of goals with competing deadlines and complexity.
The typical hiring range for this position is 23,00$ to 28,00$ CAD per hour; The base salary offered may vary depending one the knowledge, skills, years of experience and internal equity related to the position.
