Job summary

Real Stucco Inc. is seeking skilled workers to apply weatherproof decorative cement coverings on exterior surfaces across multiple GTA locations. This full-time role involves using hand tools, erecting scaffolds, and performing mix tasks for cement, plaster, and stucco finishes.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, be prepared for heavy physical labour, and follow oral and written directions. LiUNA Local 183 collective agreement provides benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in stucco or related trade.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Apply weatherproof decorative cement covering to exterior surfaces using hand tools.
• Apply coats of cementitious materials and mix plaster/stucco as required.
• Mix concrete, plaster and stucco according to application needs.
• Prepare and clean surfaces prior to application.
• Erect and install scaffolds.
• Follow safety practices with tools and work processes.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision and follow directions.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Maintain good working relationships with the team.
• Perform heavy physical labour and stand for extended periods.

Job description

Wage: $45.49 per hour (full-time 40 hours) + benefits according to LiUNA Local 183 collective agreement

Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

• Apply weatherproof, decorative covering of Portland cement to outside building surfaces, using hand tools
• Apply various coats of material, decorative final or finish coat mixing and proportioning cement, mortar, plaster and stucco
• Mix a variety of concrete, plaster and stucco depending on application
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Erect and install scaffolds
• Follow safety practices associated with the tools and work practices
• Perform primary duties with minimal supervision or technical directions
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Maintain effective working relationship with others
• Ability to perform heavy physical labour
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  Physically demanding; Handling heavy loads; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.
