Job summary

BR Landscaping (1582379 Ontario Inc.) is seeking a concrete finisher for a position based in Toronto with GTA travel. The role pays $43.58 per hour for a 35‑hour workweek and requires 2–3+ years of hands‑on finishing experience.

You will mix, form, pour, finish, seal, and repair concrete surfaces across multiple sites in the Greater Toronto Area. Standard duties include coordinating formwork, leveling surfaces, applying finishes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety codes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years or more of experience in concrete finishing.
• Physical strength to handle heavy loads.
• Physically demanding work; bending, crouching, kneeling; repetitive tasks.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to learn and develop practical skills.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcements materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or into surfaces according to grade.
• Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete.
• Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.
• Level top surface of concrete according to grade & depth specifications using straightedge or float.
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete.
• Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures.

Wage:

$43.58 per hour – 35 hours per week

Location of Work:

200 Rockcliffe Court, Toronto, ON plus various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
