Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies is seeking a Technician II for structured cabling in Ontario/Toronto. You will install and service cabling infrastructure for Data, AV, and CCTV, and support network racks in server rooms.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of structured cabling experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Occasional night shifts, travel, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in structured cabling installation and servicing.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract and no restrictions.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing cat5/6 and fiber optic cables.
• Experience installing racks, cabinets, and other cabling infrastructure.
• Experience with low voltage systems (CCTV, access control, AV, wireless, nurse call, RTLS).
• Able to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data, AV and CCTV per specifications and drawings.
• Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms.
• Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring inquiries are handled professionally.
• Adhere to Bosch Building Technologies' Quality and Safety programs.
• Complete detailed documentation, including OHS checks, packing slips, checklists and as-builts.
• May work night shifts when needed; travel and overtime may be requested.
• Perform additional duties as required.
