IS2 Workforce Solutions is seeking Welder/Fitters for a steel manufacturing client in the Holland Landing area, Ontario. Pay ranges from $27–$30 per hour, based on experience, with day and afternoon shifts available.

The role emphasizes MIG welding, fitting, and interpretation of shop drawings in a busy structural steel environment. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, be safety-conscious, and capable of rigging with overhead crane experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural steel welding and fitting experience.
• Strong fitting skills and MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
• Experience working in a steel fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Safety-conscious and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld structural steel components using MIG welding.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and welding diagrams.
• Measure, position, align, and assemble steel components.
• Work with custom steel components and assemblies.
• Use hand tools, torches, and other fabrication equipment.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
