IS2 Workforce Solutions is recruiting a TIG Welder / Fitter for a well-established custom metal fabrication manufacturer in Woodstock, Ontario. You will weld and fit aluminum and steel components to exact specifications using MIG, TIG and FCAW processes.

You will work from detailed drawings in a quality-driven environment, with a stable day shift, competitive pay, pension plan and comprehensive benefits after probation.

Formación

• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Fit, layout, cut, shape, and weld steel and aluminum components.
• Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and FCAW welding processes.
• Weld components to required structural and quality standards.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as CNC press brakes, shears, and plasma cutters.
• Grind, finish, and inspect welds to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.

IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a TIG Welder / Fitter on behalf of our client, a well-established custom metal fabrication manufacturer in Woodstock, Ontario. Our client produces steel and aluminum components for a variety of industrial and heavy-duty applications within a quality-driven manufacturing environment. This position involves hands‑on welding and fitting work in a custom fabrication setting. The successful candidate will work with detailed drawings and specifications to fabricate, fit, and weld components while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Location: Woodstock, OntarioPay Rate: $28-$35/hour (or to be negotiated)Shift: Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Fit, layout, cut, shape, and weld steel and aluminum components
• Perform welding using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes
• Weld components to required structural and quality standards
• Operate fabrication equipment such as CNC press brakes, shears, and plasma cutters when required
• Grind, finish, and inspect welds to meet specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be able to pass a Controlled Goods Application
• Must have proven experience as a Welder/Fitter with ALUMINUM MATERIALS in a custom fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and work to close tolerances
• Experience welding aluminum materials
• Welding certifications (CWB, AWS, IAS) are preferred
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
• Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials
