Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an Intermediate Structural Technologist to join our team in Canada. The successful candidate will be based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Red Deer and collaborate on North American projects across offices.

You will work with BIM/CAD platforms, coordinate with engineers and technicians, and contribute to sustainable design and embodied carbon initiatives. The role emphasizes collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Construction-focused Technology Diploma from a recognized technical school.
Experience in buildings disciplines is preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering drawings and models for municipal, commercial, and industrial buildings using Revit and CAD.
Prepare presentation graphics and report figures.
Coordinate project drawings with project managers, technical staff, and others.
Complete model reviews and collaborate with other technical disciplines.
Ensure that the project’s needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
Work within the project team from initial design to construction completion.
Support contract administration by reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
Understand and adhere to Stantec and client standards.
