Job summary

Behlen Industries LP, a leading steel building systems manufacturer, is seeking a Structural Steel Detailer in Brandon, Manitoba. Reporting to Engineering leadership, you will prepare detailed shop drawings for structural components, develop cut and shipping lists, and produce erection drawings for both structural and cladding elements.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Structural Eng. Tech or Building Design CAD, with preferred 3D detailing experience and a CET designation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Structural Eng. Tech or Building Design CAD.
• Certified Eng. Technologist designation viewed favourably.
• Experience with building structures in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed shop drawings for structural components of steel building systems.
• Develop cut lists and shipping lists; prepare final erection drawings.
• Support project engineering with accurate 3D detailing and documentation.
