Job summary

Kinectrics Inc. in Toronto, ON is seeking a Section Manager, Structural Integrity to lead a specialized team of engineers and designers responsible for stress analysis across nuclear and conventional piping systems.

You will oversee ANSYS Mechanical analyses, manage projects, ensure QA compliance with CSA/ASME standards, and collaborate with design, testing, and operations teams to deliver high‑quality solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; PEO status or eligible.
• 8+ years relevant experience; nuclear design/analyses preferred.
• Familiarity with nuclear stress analysis and design engineering.
• ASME CSA N285 / ASME Section III experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of nuclear power plant design and operation.
• Excellent understanding of Kinectrics QA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stress analysis activities for the section.
• Interface with design, equipment and testing groups to provide solutions.
• Conduct technical assessments and troubleshooting for projects.
• Lead QA compliance within the section following CSA/ASME standards.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and client presentations.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and scheduling of projects.
