Job summary

Brandt Developments Ltd is seeking a hands-on metal fabrication assistant to support cutting, grinding, and assembly of components. You will operate hand tools and assist with field installations, working at heights on aerial work platforms.

The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to read drawings. Training and safety certifications are provided, with opportunities for advancement within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Certifications in aerial work platforms (AWP) and safety trainings such as Fall Protection/WHMIS/First Aid are advantageous.
• CWB SMAW all-position certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, and assembly of components.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support installation in field work environments.
• Work at heights using aerial work platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
