Job summary

Brandt Developments Division in Canada seeks an Electrician to support building maintenance, renovations and new construction on multiple projects. You will perform maintenance and repairs, and supervise subcontractors to ensure work meets Brandt’s standards and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has apprentices or journeyman status, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Passion for construction.
  • Excellent organization & communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • Journeyman Trades Certificate is considered an asset.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Building maintenance and repairs
  • Complete small renovation projects
  • Supervise activities of subcontractors' personnel on larger jobs to ensure that work is being performed in compliance with Brandt’s standards
  • Complete all work in accordance with Brandt’s safety procedures
  • Complete all work within schedule and budget
  • Work with foremen, project managers and designers to manage issues in design, material supply and coordination.

Brandt is currently seeking an Electrician for our Brandt Developments Division. Brandt is a diverse manufacturing and distribution company that makes equipment for contractors, farmers, landscapers, loggers, manufacturers, miners, pipe liners, railways, roadbuilders and steelmakers. What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Building maintenance and repairs
