Englobe is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern in Ottawa to support the Structural Engineering team. You will assist with site investigations, data collection and the preparation of reports under the supervision of licensed Professional Engineers.
Responsibilities include assisting with structural condition assessments, calculations and design of concrete, steel, masonry and wood elements, and coordinating deliverables while collaborating with engineers and project managers.
You will play an important role within a dynamic and passionate Structural team, contributing to a wide variety of projects in the buildings and building science sector. Working closely with Engineers and Project Managers, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of structural engineering services while helping maintain Englobe’s high standards for quality, service and safety.

As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will work in close collaboration with the Structural Engineering team in our Ottawa office.

The salary range for this position is $60,550 to $79,472 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.
Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
