FFC is seeking an Associate, Strategy & Business Operations to help build service offerings, partnerships, and scalable operations at its Chalk River / Ottawa corridor hub. You will work across Commercial, Business Operations, and Supply Chain to convert insights into market-ready solutions.

The role requires strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills, with 3–5 years in relevant roles. Occasional travel to Ottawa and other sites is expected as required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce/Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree an asset.
• 3-5 years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development, or strategy and business operations roles; commercial or supply chain experience is also relevant.
• Track record of taking ambiguous problems from a blank page to a delivered outcome (a new offering, partnership, process, function, or client engagement), and comfortable with shifting priorities in an early-stage, scaling organization.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including business cases, investment cases, and cost and pricing models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to produce client-, partner-, executive-, and Board-ready material in PowerPoint.
• Strong stakeholder management, able to influence senior leaders across technical and commercial teams and manage multiple workstreams to deadline.
• Comfortable using AI tools for research, drafting, and analysis, and interested in the systems and tools that help a business scale.
• Eligible to work in Canada, able to travel to Ottawa and other locations as required (aprox 20% of time), and able to meet the requirements for site access at CNL’s Chalk River Laboratories (i.e. security clearance).

Responsabilidades

• Define markets, partners, and offerings with business cases.
• Design service offerings, delivery models, pricing, and risk allocation.
• Create governance, templates, and partner-facing materials.
• Coordinate bids and proposals with stakeholders.
• Develop operating model, workflows, and tech stack for scaling.
• Support PMO, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Prepare Board-level materials and assist budgets and forecasts.
