Canada Rocket Company is seeking a Strategy & Operations Co-op for Winter 2027 in Toronto. You will work directly with the CFO across finance, strategy, technology, and business operations to accelerate engineering work.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a co-op or internship program at the undergraduate level or above.
• At least one prior completed internship or co-op work term.
• Fluency with economic and financial modeling principles, in Excel and/or AI-assisted, structured code-based models such as Python.
• Systems thinking: understand how processes, data, and decisions connect across an organization.
• Working understanding of data structures and database architectures, and how business systems store, relate, and exchange information.
• Fluent with AI tools, and able to apply them to redesign how work is done.
• Rigour and accuracy in work carrying financial, contractual, and external consequence, and ability to work independently where established process does not yet exist.

Responsibilities

• Develop the enterprise financial model and drive capital planning across programs.
• Run FP&A cycle: budget vs actual, variance analysis, and forecasts.
• Support procurement processes and supply chain resilience.
• Design AI-native workflows and agentic processes to improve cross-functional efficiency.
