Job description

As a Manager Strategist, you will play a critical leadership role, overseeing the delivery of high-impact strategic projects for your Clients. This position is designed for seasoned strategists who have demonstrated success in leading complex engagements and are ready to take on greater responsibility in managing and leading Client relationships, guiding teams, and driving the strategic direction of digital experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Engagement and CS Partner : Act as a point of contact for Clients, building strong relationships, understanding their strategic objectives, and addressing their evolving needs. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify new opportunities for strategic partnership.
  • Project Leadership : Lead multiple strategic projects simultaneously, ensuring project objectives are met, timelines are adhered to, and client satisfaction is met (and exceeded!). This role will also manage their own allocation on strategy projects and is responsible for delivering outputs effectively.
  • Data-Driven Insights : Design and run research, market analysis, and data gathering processes to develop robust data-driven insights and formulate strategic recommendations.
  • Strategy Development & Depth : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive and innovative strategies that address Client challenges, leverage market opportunities, and drive business growth. Present strategic recommendations to Clients and senior leadership. Experience in customer journey mapping, ecosystem analysis, and developing frameworks is preferred.
  • Business Development : Play a key role in supporting business development efforts, including contributing to proposal development, research, and identifying additional business opportunities on existing projects.
  • Team Collaboration : Lead fresh thinking and be a teacher and learner within the Strategy group.

  • Business Acumen : Possess a strong business acumen to identify growth opportunities, address market challenges, and drive value for Clients.
  • Client Relationship Management : Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted strategic advisor.
  • In-Office Presence : Preferred location, Toronto. Office days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields, such as Business, Technology, and/or Marketing.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in strategy consulting, or a related field, with a track record of successfully leading complex and high-impact strategy engagements.
  • In-depth knowledge of data, digital technologies, emerging trends, and their applications in business strategy and digital transformation.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
