JOB SUMMARY:
TheData Strategy Manageris the strategic backbone of the Data Science & Strategy (DSS) team, responsible for translating business challenges into data-informed solutions. This role is focused on defining, guiding, and communicating the strategy behind analytics engagements that drive value across marketing, media, and client ecosystems. You’ll partner closely with the Data Science Manager to shape project scopes, communicate insights, and elevate the impact of our analytics work. While operational know-how is valuableas you will be managing timelines and deliverables, this role is primarily about data strategy—bridging analytical capabilities with strategic objectives.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are deeply fluent inconsumer data and marketinguse cases, comfortable owning high-level client conversations,have marketing agency or brand side marketing execution experience,and skilled at crafting compelling data stories that influence decisions.Exercises like customer segmentation, profiling prospects, trade area analysis, leveraging first and third party data (like Experian and Acxiom) and lookalike modeling should be comfortable phrases. While you wont be executing the data science work behind these analyses, you will help turn the data science work into clear client facing deliverables, and you will strategize when these and other analyses are appropriate (and not) to best apply data science and analytics to meet client goals.

Candidates must be located in Illinois, Texas, Colorado, or Michigan. For individuals based in our Michigan and Illinois locations, this will be a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and remote work. For candidates in Texas and Colorado, this position will be fully remote.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $95,000 to $110,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
