Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Strategy and Business Development Analyst to identify and qualify opportunities in the aerostructures sector and to build strong client relationships.

You will collaborate with engineering, production and project management to tailor proposals, participate in trade shows, analyze the market, and prepare commercial materials. Travel to meet customers will be required to support growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, business administration, or strategy.
• 5+ years of experience in business development or procurement, preferably in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Bilingual: French and English; Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the aerostructures sector (metal/composite fabrication, surface treatments, assembly, design, testing).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key aerospace stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and project management to develop technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
• Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Bombardier’s manufacturing services.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to guide development strategy.
• Prepare presentations, service offers, and commercial proposals.
• Travel to meet customers and support growth objectives.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a degree in engineering, business administration, or strategy.
• You have five (10) years of experience in business development or in procurement, ideally in the aerospace or manufacturing sector.
• You have a solid understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and equipment, assembly methods, and aircraft components.
• You are recognized for your leadership and strong ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and influence others.
• You are bilingual (French and English). Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
• You are autonomous, innovative, and dynamic.
• You are highly organized, results-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
