Job summary

Metrolinx is seeking a Project Manager to develop and deliver comprehensive project management solutions for the GO Expansion and related transit projects. You will support planning, stakeholder engagement, contract management, risk mitigation, and successful delivery across the organization.

The role requires experience in complex transportation projects, ability to manage matrix teams, and interaction with finance, contracts, and risk functions. Metrolinx champions equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PowerBI are expected.
• Familiarity with transportation technology and systems (scheduling, simulations, signalling, planning).
• Strong organizational and communication abilities to coordinate complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Define needs for design alternatives and contract documents.
• Collaborate with Risk Team to develop risk management plan and register.
• Familiarity with Concept of Operations documentation.
• Negotiate with consultants/contractors as needed.
• Verify expenditures with finance, contracts, and risk teams for proper approvals.
• Oversee delivery of work by project team, consultants, and contractors across major expansions.
