Job summary

Banque Nationale du Canada seeks a senior advisor to shape consultant recruitment strategy and manage partnerships across IT, procurement and business lines. You will lead advisory efforts, support managers, and coordinate with internal and external partners to optimize hiring and vendor relationships.

The role emphasizes governance of an internal tool, influence across stakeholders, and strong relationship building to meet business objectives in a dynamic, people-focused environment.

Qualifications

• University degree related to the industry.
• 5 years of relevant recruitment experience.
• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or sourcing of professional resources.
• Experience in advising and supporting managers.
• Experience in a consulting or consulting environment.
• Experience in managing partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate a complex environment and build long-lasting partnerships.
• Experience in sourcing IT consultants, an asset.
• Experience in managing vendors or professional services, an asset.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support managers in defining their needs and in their consultant recruitment strategies.
• Take care of the management and administrative follow-up of hires in the various sectors
• Support IT leaders in the recruitment of their resource and the monitoring of processes
• Act as an advisory partner to managers to guide them in the identification and acquisition of the best external talent.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner firms to foster a common understanding of the organization's needs and priorities.
• Coordinates and collaborates with the Procurement sector on professional services and suppliers.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external partners in the files under your responsibility.
• Ensure the governance of an internal tool supporting the management of consultants and their performance.
• Mobilize and influence the various stakeholders in order to promote the achievement of business objectives.
• Advise partners on market trends, sourcing strategies and best practices in talent acquisition.
• Prepare recommendations and support decision-making in matters related to consultants and vendor partners.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to make everyone's job easier.
