Job summary

National Bank is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to guide recruitment strategies for Western Canada, including Calgary and Vancouver. You will partner with leaders to forecast talent needs, design effective search approaches, and drive top-tier hiring across Commercial Banking and Private Banking sectors.

You will manage the full lifecycle, craft innovative attraction programs, and leverage market data to optimize hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field and significant experience in talent acquisition.
Experience recruiting within financial services, commercial banking, or wealth management environments.
Strong knowledge of recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and market trends.

Responsibilities

Advise hiring managers on talent acquisition strategies aligned with workforce and business objectives.
Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake discussions and sourcing to candidate assessment, offer management, and onboarding support.
Develop innovative attraction initiatives to identify, engage, and hire highly qualified professionals and leaders.
Evaluate candidates through structured interviews and provide recommendations based on experience and business needs.
Analyze labour market trends, compensation data, and talent availability to support informed hiring decisions.
Collaborate with HR partners and stakeholders to improve recruitment practices, workforce planning, and employer branding.
