Job summary

Real Food for Real Kids in Toronto is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to shape and execute sourcing strategies for off-the-shelf foods, ingredients, packaging, and white-label products. You will connect culinary imagination with commercial strategy, drive supplier negotiations, and lead RFx activities with cross-functional teams.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Service Innovation, you will build a high-impact supplier network, deliver cost savings, and lead a growing team through

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive strategic sourcing, procurement, or category-management experience across ingredients, packaging, or finished products.
• Strong understanding of RFx processes, negotiations, and cost-savings delivery.
• Experience leading teams and building cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year strategies across off-the-shelf food, raw ingredients, packaging, and white-label products.
• Lead RFx activities from market scans to negotiation and implementation.
• Develop vendor-network strategies balancing cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Recipe, Product, Menu, QA, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance for end-to-end sourcing.
• Own sourcing KPIs, dashboards, and governance to track savings and portfolio health.
• Coach and develop the sourcing team for growth.
