Job summary

Mars is seeking a Sales Analyst to support the Mars Snacking team, ensuring all operational needs are executed efficiently to deliver segment objectives and aligned customer plans. You will manage relationships with Merchants to resolve issues and ensure accurate execution.

You will provide category information to support growth with Sales fundamentals (Distribution, Display, Shelf, Price, Promotions) and manage day-to-day relationships internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent.
• CPG experience preferred.
• Understanding of key software enablers (Scintilla, Retail Link, Nielsen, etc.).
• Fluent understanding of forecasting and trade management system.
• Category management experience & strong analytical skills an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supports team with day-to-day operational account management support leveraging increased levels of technology and improving processes to drive efficiency.
• Executes against customer business plans to deliver all business segment objectives, including price and promotional planning and new launches.
• Provides recommendations on account business opportunities supported with analysis rooted in facts and data; summarizes learnings from past executions.
• Understands customer plans and their impact on internal/external forecasts, cooperating with internal Supply Team to improve forecast accuracy and plan execution.
• Provides timely information, category expertise and priorities to the retail sales organization and consolidates retail feedback on executional issues and opportunities.
