Job summary

Mars Snacking Canada seeks a Senior Customer Development Manager to drive profitable sales growth for a major retailer. You will manage budgets, trade, promotions, pricing, and planograms while negotiating effectively with trade partners.

The role requires in-office collaboration in Bolton with flexible remote options, and the ability to travel ~10% of the time. You will lead strategic planning and coordinate with demand planning to forecast and implement go-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in sales at a retail/account level in CPG.
• Strong analytical skillset; experience with syndicated data platforms such as Nielsen.
• Able to travel 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Achieve profitable sales and share growth aligned with SCM model and sales plan objectives.
• Execute daily merchandising objectives, item acceptance, assortment optimization, budget adherence, and建立 customer relationships with Walmart buying desk.
• Serve as key contact for the customer on daily operations.
• Develop productive relationships within all levels of customer responsibility and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Copilots and cross-functional teams to develop execution plans aligned with Mars Snacking Canada strategy.
• Analyze opportunities and contribute to go-to-market plans for launches, trade deployment, and packing concepts.
• Coordinate with demand planning for annual and ongoing forecasting for new products and initiatives.
• Lead collaborative planning to improve customer planning and alignment of activity sets.
• Communicate future needs within the channel to position Mars Snacking for success.
• Manage and deliver a sound financial plan for the account and year-end position.
