Job summary

iA Financial Group is seeking a Strategic Risk Advisor to help identify, analyze and monitor strategic and emerging risks across business sectors. You will support cross-functional teams, contribute to risk assessments and prepare materials for senior management while promoting risk management best practices.

Strong analytical skills, business acumen and bilingual English/French communication are required, as well as experience in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in risk management, auditing, strategic planning or related field.
• Strong interest in strategic issues and organizational risk management with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Ability to prepare executive-level presentations, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork, intellectual curiosity and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of the financial services or insurance industry is an asset; LEAN knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, monitor and track strategic, cross-functional and emerging risks.
• Conduct risk analyses and provide advisory support for projects and strategic matters.
• Monitor action plans, mitigation measures and indicators with business partners.
• Prepare reports and documents for senior management and committees.
• Promote risk management methodologies, tools and standards among partners.
• Collect and analyze data to provide an integrated view of risks.
