Job summary

iA Financial Group seeks a Strategic Risk Advisor to help identify, analyze and monitor strategic risks across the organization. In this role, you will work with business partners to support risk-informed decision making and report to senior leaders.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2–5 years of risk management experience, and strong English/French communication. The position offers a hybrid work setup and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in risk management, auditing, strategic planning, project management or related field.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to prepare executive-level presentations.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of financial services or insurance industry is a plus.
• Familiar with risk management principles or LEAN approaches is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, monitor and track strategic and emerging risks across the organization.
• Analyze risks and provide advisory support for projects and strategic matters.
• Collaborate with partners and monitor action plans and indicators.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and committees.
• Promote risk management methodologies, tools and standards.
• Consolidate data to provide an integrated view of risks.
• Research emerging trends influencing the business environment.
• Collaborate with risk teams to maintain a consistent approach.
• Facilitate workshops and training as required.
• Contribute to various projects requiring risk management expertise.
• Perform other duties to meet team objectives.
