Job summary

Desjardins Group is seeking a public affairs and public relations advisor to help manage the organization’s image and promote policies for external audiences through public relations, media relations, lobbying, and institutional affairs. You will analyze complaints, advise clients and partners, and develop strategies aligned with Desjardins' objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of French is required.

Responsibilities

• Process suggestions, comments and complaints from members, clients, employees and practitioners.
• Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes.
• Help develop and implement objectives, solutions, policies, programs and action plans.
• Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports.
• Serve as mediator between individuals and sectors and negotiate agreements.
