Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a senior public affairs and public relations advisor to safeguard the organization’s image and promote policies for external audiences through public relations, media relations, lobbying and institutional affairs.

You will lead complex initiatives, advise decision-makers and coordinate with stakeholders across functions to strengthen relationships with members and clients while protecting the brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; six years of relevant experience minimum.
• Knowledge of French is required; English at intermediate level.
• Other combinations of qualifications and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients and partners to position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic complaint management initiatives and projects.
• Serve as expert advisor or mediator to resolve major complaints and negotiate settlements.
• Develop and update policies, standards and programs to support strategic projects.
