The Mint is seeking a Senior Manager, Protective Services to lead a team of armed personnel and safeguard Mint assets across Ottawa and national operations. You will report to the Chief Security Officer and drive cultural change to foster openness and collaboration.

You will guide strategic development, program oversight, and expert consultation to ensure a safe workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors while championing organizational transformation aligned with strategic objectives.

Qualificações

• University degree in a related field or at least 10 years of corporate security or law enforcement leadership experience in a high‑risk environment.
• Successful completion of Incident Command Systems (ICS) 100 and 200 coursework; ICS 300 or 400 considered an asset.
• Possession of RPAL is an asset; ability to obtain and maintain RPAL is required.

Responsabilidades

• During significant events, act on behalf of the Chief Security Officer for Ottawa operations, ensuring operational continuity and protection of Mint assets.
• Champion cultural transformation and change management across Protective Services.
• Develop leaders and promote a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
• Build productive relationships with union partners and support a positive labour relations environment.
• Work cross‑functionally to optimize security programs and integrate them with enterprise‑level strategies and risk frameworks.
• Provide fiscal oversight to ensure sustainable and accountable operations.
• Set clear performance expectations, support leadership growth, and guide teams toward excellence.
