Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Strategy & Change to lead assigned projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to sponsor satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and risks, and guiding project governance. A PMP is an asset, with 5–7 years of PM experience and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience with post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of project management experience.
• PMP designation from PMI is an asset.
• Entrepreneurial skills and strong judgement are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to implementation to achieve business results.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and scope; monitor performance; mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, vendors, and regulators.
• Develop and govern project management artifacts and change management plans.
• Provide guidance to sponsors and ensure successful project outcomes.
