Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Information systems preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of direct project management experience.
• Strong problem solving skills with rapid independent decision making.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience negotiating resources within a matrix organization.
• PMP designation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the project delivery, including managing scope and changes to deliverables, while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Effective communicator (through presentations and in writing).
• Provide team leadership; priority setting, decision making and problem solving.
• Resolve project issues and/or delays to minimize client impact and ensure timely implementation.
• Negotiate modifications or trade-offs to project scope or dates with client, based on deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Explain implications of changes to project scope to client and management to ensure understanding and approval.
• Analyze and recommend process improvements.
