Alstom is seeking a Project Buyer in Toronto to manage procurement during tenders, engage suppliers, and collaborate with Engineering to optimize cost and delivery. You will prepare tender packages, analyze quotations, and ensure adherence to procurement policies.

The role requires a degree in Purchasing or related field, procurement experience, and preferably familiarity with electronics and N&T materials. A second language is a plus, and Excel proficiency is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in purchasing or related field is required.
• Proven experience and understanding of procurement processes.
• Experience at Alstom or in a similar setting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement activities during tender phase ensuring QCDP commitments.
• Lead supplier engagement and negotiate pre-bid agreements for competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with Engineering to support design-to-cost initiatives.
• Prepare and validate tender cost packages and risk assessments.
