Job summary

Women's Health Clinic in Winnipeg is seeking a Director of Programs & Partnerships to lead Clinical & Community Programs and ensure funding deliverables are met. You will work with Program Managers to develop new programming aligned with strategic goals and manage staff performance and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of health care management, strong stakeholder engagement, budgeting acumen and a commitment to anti-racist, anti-oppressive practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or alternate education.
• 5+ years of Management experience in a health care environment.
• Ability to plan and deliver complex programming with HR and change management.
• Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects with competing priorities and risk assessment.
• Provide strategic advice on sensitive topics.
• Understanding of community health and women’s health.
• Anti-racist, anti-oppressive approaches in work.
• Operational plans aligned with the strategic plan.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives and budgeting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in Word.
• Police etc. checks: Police Information, Adult & Child Abuse Registry

Responsibilities

• Oversight of programs to ensure effective functioning and alignment with strategic goals.
• Development of new programming to address community needs with Program Managers.
• Ensure Human Resources management across the organization.
• Manage HR for direct reports.
• Provide strategic and operational information for internal/external funders.
• Develop, monitor, report and adjust resources and budget allocations.
• Lead policies, procedures and precedents with Management.
• Recommend improvements to service delivery based on partnerships.
• Identify funding needs; participate in grant applications and mentoring.
• Participate in committees and meetings with funders/external stakeholders.
• Respond to media requests as delegated by ED & Communications.
• Contribute to strategic planning; support innovation and quality initiatives.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call model.
