Job summary

Central 1 Credit Union is seeking an experienced Program Director to steer large-scale, strategic initiatives that create value for clients and the organization. You will guide programs, manage risks, dependencies, and collaborate across project, technology, and business teams to deliver outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coach program managers, define strategies, establish governance, and provide executive updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Master's degree is an asset.
• 7+ years of experience leading complex programs.
• Certifications such as MSP®, PgMP®, PMP® or equivalent are a plus.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams through complex, business-critical transformations.
• Coach, mentor, and support project managers and team members.
• Define program strategies, objectives, and roadmaps.
• Establish governance frameworks and ensure accountability.
• Provide executives with clear updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, dependencies, and priorities.
