The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board is seeking a Procurement & Finance Officer to lead procurement and contract management, reporting to the Manager of Finance. The role supports finance tasks within the Business department in Dublin, Ontario, and requires coordinating with staff district-wide.

Qualificações

• University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, preferably in the School Board or Public Sector.
• Advanced knowledge of public procurement procedures, competitive bidding processes, applicable trade agreements and relevant legislation within the broader public sector.
• Professional designation such as SCMP or CPPO is an asset.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate procurement of goods and services per legislation, policy and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop procurement plans and solutions.
• Negotiate, implement and manage contracts with vendors ensuring value and compliance.
• Provide guidance on procurement and contract matters across the Board.
• Recommend improvements to procurement and vendor management processes.
• Prepare ministry reporting, attestations, and compliance submissions.
