The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is hiring a Finance Officer - Financial Planning to lead budget development and in-year financial planning. You will prepare documentation, analyze data, and report on financial results to support board priorities.
Reporting to the Team Manager, Financial Planning, the role emphasizes governance, internal controls, and in-depth financial analysis to enable informed decisions. 35 hours weekly, regular full-time position in Ottawa.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Salary range: $96,796 to $113,920 per annum (Level 7)
Reporting to the Team Manager, Financial Planning, the Finance Officer is responsible for preparing supporting documentation that contributes to the development and management of the Board budget, as well as facilitating and reporting on the in-year execution of the financial plan to ensure that sufficient resources are available to meet the Board's identified priorities. The Finance Officer provides key information to Board staff on financial policy and procedures and develops responses to ad hoc requests for financial information from internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate and informative data and analysis to aid sound financial decision making.
