Manulife is seeking a Lead, Portfolio Management & Governance to drive prioritization, governance and delivery across Canada Operations. You will partner with senior leaders to improve planning, oversight and outcomes for a large backlog of initiatives.

Responsibilities include leading governance practices, owning portfolio reporting, and enabling data-driven decision making. The role strengthens resource alignment and program maturity within a high-performing team.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in portfolio management and governance, including prioritization, oversight and reporting.
• 7+ years in project, program, or portfolio management functions, including governance and executive support.
• Hands-on experience in maturing PM tools and practices.
• Proven ability to produce accurate portfolio-level reporting.
• Ability to connect the dots across projects and stakeholders.
• Strong relationship and influence skills in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs.
• Change Management experience is an asset.
• PMO experience is an asset.
• Resource Management experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet is an asset.
• Bilingual English and French is an asset (Québec context if applicable).

• Lead, enable and champion portfolio management and governance practices.
• Own portfolio-level reporting to Senior Leadership.
• Embed data-driven decision making into portfolio planning and resource management.
• Provide insights and trade-off assessments in governance forums.
• Uphold governance frameworks across initiatives.
• Support rollout of Resource Management across the portfolio.
• Assist annual planning to align resources with objectives.
• Support continuous improvement of portfolio tools and practices.
