Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to support governance, executive reporting, and strategic planning within our Montreal-based operations. The role emphasizes performance reviews, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations to improve delivery outcomes.

Ideal candidates possess 8–12 years in portfolio governance, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and fluency in English and French. This position offers growth, cross‑functional collaboration, and exposure to aviation-related solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in portfolio management, governance, business analysis, PMO, or project management.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio governance activities, including performance reviews, executive reviews, and business reviews
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and leadership reporting
• Analyze performance trends, capacity, resource utilization, and financial indicators
• Support forecasting, resource planning, and tracking of organizational priorities
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of management information used in decision‑making processes
• Review portfolio, project, and program health and provide recommendations to improve execution, predictability, and business outcomes
• Identify risks, issues, and trends requiring leadership attention
• Act as an advisor to Project Managers and Delivery Leaders on governance, planning, forecasting, and reporting practices
• Promote consistent governance and portfolio management practices across the organization
• Prepare executive presentations, business analyses, and governance materials
• Support leadership in planning, performance management, and decision‑making activities
• Perform analysis and provide data‑driven recommendations
• Track actions and decisions resulting from executive reviews and governance forums
• Prepare business cases, strategic assessments, and recommendations for senior leadership
• Provide an independent perspective on portfolio health, capacity constraints, delivery risks, and execution challenges
