Manulife is seeking a Lead, Portfolio Management & Governance to oversee prioritization, governance, and delivery across Canada Operations. You will partner with senior leaders to ensure rigorous prioritization, strong delivery oversight, and optimal use of resources for a backlog of initiatives.

You will drive portfolio-level reporting, embed data-driven decision making, and support the maturity of portfolio tools and practices while aligning with strategic objectives and resource frameworks

Qualifications

• 3+ years of portfolio management and governance experience including prioritization, oversight and reporting.
• 7+ years across project/program/portfolio management with governance and executive decision support.
• Hands-on experience improving and maturing PM tools and practices.
• Proven ability to produce accurate portfolio-level reporting.
• Ability to connect dots between multiple projects and stakeholder groups.
• Strong relationship and influence skills in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to anticipate and act on stakeholder needs.

Responsabilités

• Lead and champion portfolio management and governance practices, including prioritization, delivery health oversight, and decision support aligned to objectives and resource frameworks.
• Own portfolio-level reporting to stakeholders, including Senior Leadership.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed data-driven, evidence-based decision-making into portfolio planning, resource management, and initiative sequencing.
• Support senior leadership decision making by providing clear insights, recommendations, and trade-off assessments in governance forums.
• Uphold governance frameworks with consistent application and awareness across initiatives.
• Support the roll-out of Resource Management across the Canada Operations portfolio.
• Support the annual planning process, ensuring alignment of resources with strategic objectives.
• Support continuous improvement and maturity of portfolio tools and practices.
