Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Director, Central Planning to lead organizational transformation across Planning & Methods, including the migration to S/4HANA. You will coordinate multi-site roadmaps, budgets, and strategic initiatives, working with Operations, Finance, HR, and Sales to align priorities and drive execution.

The role requires a strong strategic mindset, 15+ years in aerospace or manufacturing, and proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations or related field.
• MBA is an asset.
• 15+ years in aerospace or complex manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives.
• Strong strategic mindset with execution ability.
• Ability to manage complexity and priorities.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Proficient Lean and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Excellent business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the transformation roadmap for Planning & Methods, including S/4HANA migration.
• Ensure alignment of planning schedules across Bombardier to support feasibility and decision-making.
• Lead multi-site project portfolio management: roadmap, budget, investments, workforce planning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to support Global and Challenger programs and Customer Horizon Management.
• Govern the Planning & Methods function and support strategic priorities and performance monitoring.
• Provide executive visibility on KPIs, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Lead and develop a team of project managers and analysts.
• Set priorities, objectives, and development plans for the team.
• Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Develop succession plans and contribute to talent strategy.
