Job summary

You will coordinate input from across the ministry, develop the ministry’s business and operational plans, the annual report, risk reports, and executive briefing materials to meet legislated requirements.

Qualifications

• University graduation in a related field plus 2 years progressively responsible related experience.
• Equivalency: 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
• Preference will be given to candidates with university graduation in Political Science, Public Administration, Business, Project Management, Policy Analysis, and Communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ministry planning, reporting and enterprise risk management processes.
• Produce ministry business and operational plans, annual report, risk reports.
• Edit input from across the ministry to ensure publication readiness.
• Support legislated accountability requirements under the Fiscal Planning and Transparency Act.
• Provide project management, technical and analytical support to ministry staff.
• Build relationships across the ministry to influence outcomes.
