Job summary

ICONIX Waterworks seeks a Project Manager, Municipal Infrastructure & Strategic Pursuits to lead bids and manage municipal water projects across Canada. You will coordinate with municipalities, consultants and vendors from proposal to project completion, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and meeting customer expectations.

You will support meter, AMI/AMR technology deployments, manage risks, and provide onsite investigations when required, traveling across Canada and the USA as

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, CET, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of project management experience in municipal infrastructure, utilities, or related industries.
• PMP is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal water infrastructure opportunities from RFP/RFQ review through project completion.
• Develop winning proposals, project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and technical submissions with cross-functional teams.
• Act as the key customer contact, leading meetings and project updates.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, scope, vendors, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, contractors, and technology teams and travel as required.
• Provide onsite field investigations and troubleshooting when needed.
