Job summary

Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group in Guelph, ON is seeking a Procurement professional to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services across departments. The role blends purchasing and inventory control within a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years in Purchasing and Supply Chain, strong negotiation and ERP skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with varied teams to meet cost and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
• 2 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Post-secondary education in Materials Management, Purchasing or similar. Certification through PMAC is preferred.
• Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and negotiations skills.
• High level of planning, organizational & implementation skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP/MRP based systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Director of Procurement and MRO Purchasing Supervisor to purchase goods and services meeting quality, price and delivery requirements.
• Extensive use of ERP systems to view demand and issue purchase orders.
• Ensure parts are delivered to manufacturing facility; manage ordering and expediting as needed.
• Create and update purchase requisitions; follow up on delivery dates with suppliers.
